About
For me this all started while working with my grandfather in his small shop as a boy. He had built furniture his whole life and passed on his love of crafting raw wood into beautiful furniture or functional cabinetry to me. Even after many years in the business I still get a rush of excitement at the beginning of a new project...designing the room or the piece, seeing it as a finished product in my mind and then figuring out how to take the raw materials and, layer upon layer, piece by piece, build it.
And knowing that the things I get to build will hopefully stay with their new owners for many years, or as is true with some of my grandfather's pieces, for generations, brings us much satisfaction.
